A beautiful and rare wood revival cabinet/writing desk from the Victorian era with hand-painted doors.
The woodwork trim throughout the piece is stunning, and the painted doors detail elegant floral work. Originally created as a writing desk, the pull out drawing has a hinged door for paper storage, ridges to rest a writing pen, and a hole for the ink well. The original ink bottle, by Cushman & Denison Manufacturing Company, New York City, is included.
The interior has been perfectly fitted with pullout shelves for storage.
It is a stunning and rare work of art. The cabinet in beautiful condition.
