A wonderful pair of 19th Century carved oak folk art figures that are mounted on newer iron stands. These are likely English or possibly American. Beautifully carved and rendered. They grave some losses I have pictured. They have great age patina as well. They stand approx 21.5 inches tall and the bases are 3 x 3 inches square. The iron bases are approximately 4 x 4 inches.
The carvings came from a private New England Collection.
