George nelson desk herman miller edition large desk by george nelson (1908-1986) in walnut model “eog” (executive office group) for herman miller usa. Designed in 1949. Published from 1949 to 1977. This desk is made up of a walnut top with overflow. This is supported by two box units of two drawers and three drawers with aluminum handles. The locks are present but the keys are missing. Herman miller labels under the tray section at the storage niche. The round tubular base is in chrome-plated steel. The feet tips are adjustable to obtain optimal stability. Beautiful choice of walnut leaves on the boxes and the top. Fully original. The tray has some signs of use such as a few shallow scratches. The whole is in good general vintage condition. Dimensions in cm: l183 d90 h73 this piece has an attribution mark,
