White and gold classic French design circa 1880
The gilding is rubbed, and the porcelain is aged to perfection
The collection consists of:
10 inch round plate with some gold rub, but the plate itself is in perfect nic with no chips, cracks or repairs
A deep shell form bowl With some gold rub, measures 10”x 8“ x 2 1/2“
And a 6” x 5” round porcelain pitcher completes the trio. The handle of the picture has a very old crack That was repaired a long time ago. Pieces like this were given as part of a bridal trousseau In 19 century France accustomed that still continues today. We found these pieces on our last trip to Paris at the flea market.

Paris porcelain is often a mystery to collectors. Sometimes it is sold as Vieux Paris or Old Paris. It was made in the 18th or early 19th century. Most pieces are not marked, but the porcelain is very white and the decorations are usually elaborate withgold trim.
