Vintage Staffordshire Dog ~ alone and needs it's partner. While the paint is worn on his eyes, his look seems sweeter and less "startled" than many a staffordshire dog . . . but I might be biased.
He was sold to me as Made in England in the late 1800's. His condition and my research validates that information, but I am not an expert and he is not marked.
Note that he has 2 chips in the base & the gold & black paint is worn.
