A chic pair of very finely cast late Empire / Charles X candlesticks adapted into lamps. Each is comprised of columnar elements combined with foliate and classical motifs, all executed with great refinement. Ca. early 19th century with later adaptations for use as lamps. Wiring is external, running behind each candlestick. Fitted with new burnt orange pleated linen shades.
