The familiar name of marmalade is because the texture within the stone resembles pieces of chopped orange peels. The bottle is a flattened globular shape which tapers to a raised oval foot. The top and the opening are not perfect circles. It is matched with a red carnelian stopper on a black collar, which provides a nice contrast with the brown snuff bottle. See less
