It was the quirky shape of these vintage pieces that grabbed our attention and heart. A pair of whimsical glass bookends with an aquarium theme. Each having one fish, against the yellow and green backdrop. They are a beautiful chunk of glass, well made as if from Italy, though we couldn't verify it. Some glass artist was just having a great deal of fun with these.
They can be used as bookends, but also as stand alone sculptures. Great on a mantel, bookshelf, or desk. They can also be used as paperweight, and as decor in a kids room.
Circa: Mid-Late 20th Century
Condition: Good and consistent with age.
