Set of 3 scalloped edged lunch plates in a dusty rose/salmon color with a festive leaf and fruit design on the center. Made by Susie Cooper in England. This set was produced after 1931 when she moved production to Crown Works, Burslem. Makers mark on the bottom.
Susie Cooper (1902 – 1995) was a prolific English ceramic designer who worked in the Stoke-on-Trent potteries from the 1920s to the 1980s. Susie Cooper Potteries was founded in 1929 so she could design her own forms rather than just decorate ceramics for other potters.
