Gold-gilding highlights the antiqued mirror shields frame a royal crest cartouche featuring a griffin holding a sword and a book. The surrounding detail includes ornate scrollwork in gold and brown tones, along with a crowned figure at the top, smiling mischievously, framed by decorative ribbons. Below is a round, faux bois knob-like holder made of tole metalwork suitable for a large candle or item for display. The back of the brackets are black gloss paint with a notch in each for hanging.
