This fabulous set of twelve (12) vintage early 20th century lithographs (offset) depict the Japanese art of flower arrangement known as Ikebana. These lithographs were printed in Japan c.1935 on substantial stock. Printed on one side only. Each is accompanied by a textual description. Please view our other sets from this vintage series of botanical prints. Great for a large wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions: Apprx. 6" x 8.75"
Ikebana is the centuries-old Japanese art of arranging flowers. The practice, which roughly translates to “making flowers come alive,” uses carefully selected blossoms, greenery and other flora to convey a specific feeling or emotion to an observer – just as a painting or sculpture might.
