- Good vintage condition, this bowl has seen some use and shows lots of surface scratches, pitting, blemishes, oxidation and patina, … moreGood vintage condition, this bowl has seen some use and shows lots of surface scratches, pitting, blemishes, oxidation and patina, all typical of age an use. There are no major dents or gouges and all rim edges are surprisingly clean and true. This pewter piece developed a fantastic patina over time, both on the inside and the outside surface. As we place some of our items with film and television period productions (who value authentic patina, distress and age) we have left this bowl in the original, as-found condition. The bowl could use a thorough cleaning if it is to be used and displayed in the home. less

The base is signed "Whitney Pewter by Christian Murch Rockport Mass."
