Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown clear with gold flecks and white millefiori flowers Italian art glass basket / bowl. Attributed to the Fratelli Toso company. The basket has a squared shape, with twisting glass rope handle. It has 2 large leafs on each side. Believe the flowers are white with blue center daisies. They are scattered throughout the bowl of the basket. The bottom has a thick glass applied circular base. The entire piece is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout. It glitters in any light. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, dresser or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish, even filled with fresh cut flowers. Mid-century era. Lovely piece! Measures 7" long x 6" wide x 6 3/4" tall.
