Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opalescent sapphire blue and white Italian art glass vanity jar / powder box. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s. The piece has a worn red "Murano - Made In Italy" label still attached underneath. The lid is made with a fiery opal glass, that with sunlight has an orange glow. The body of the jar has a ribbed pattern with white and blue opal glass. Would make a great display on any dresser, desk or coffee table. Mid-century era. The jar measures 4 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" wide.
