Connecticut or Rhode Island circa 1750's
Nicely shaped crest rail, and cut turned "banisters" on the seat back. Wrapped paper woven seat, likely a replacement. Maple, and Ash or Oak woods. Ash woods for the front turned stretchers point to a eastern CT or RI area manufacture in the early 18th century.
Size: 19 3/4” wide, 15 1/2” deep, 38” tall. 16” seat height.
Condition: Refinished. Old repair on the crest rail. Lots of patina and wear from age/use. Scuffs dings are consistent with age/use. less
