Here we have a darling pair of hand painted small matching Chinoiserie temple jars. Very very cute, each comes with a wooden base and lid. The porcelain bodies were made in Japan while the Coral-Reddish Orange hand painting and wood carving was done in Hong Kong. I'm not positive on the age, but based on the estate I purchased them from I'd guess they're from the 1960's.
8.5 inches tall to the tip of the lid when on the stand. Jars alone with no lid or stand are 4.5 inches tall.
Openings in lid allows for spices to infuse your sacred space. A lovely addition to any collection, for decorating a bookcase/etagere or perhaps clustered on the fireplace mantel. NO damage whatsoever. Please feel free to ask questions... thanks for looking!!! less
