Beautiful and unique, vintage Murano hand blown Italian art glass dancing ballerina sculpture with gold flecks accents and white Zanfirico ribbons skirt. Created in the manner of the Seguso Vetri d'Arte and Salviati companies. She has gold leaf on her hair, collar around her neck, and cuffs around the shoes. The dancer stands on a clear ribbed swirl base, and has a gold leaf attached to the back of her legs. I have added photos on a shaded and black backgrounds so you can better see the gold and white ribbon design. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, credenza or side table. Mid-century era. Collectors item. Measures 10" tall x 6" long x 4 1/2" wide.
