With a light honey tone there are beautiful variations in this wood turned Norfolk Pine bowl from Hawaii. It is signed and dated 2004.
These bowl are highly valued because of the black spalting the artist uncovered in the wood. The thinness of the bowl, an extremely difficult task only achieved by the most highly skilled bowl turners, reveal the fiery, translucent color within the wood.
The bowl has a 5 1/2" opening and stands 8 1/8" tall. It has a 2 1/5" footprint. less
