It features eight sides, a … more This is a beautiful vintage pierced brass octagon cricket box, trinket box, or incense burner. It features eight sides, a hinged lid, and a working clasp. The box is designed with a top handle and four feet, and it is intricately pierced and embossed with scallops, floral patterns, and scrolls. It measures approximately 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 3 inches high. The box is in very nice vintage condition and has been preserved in its "as found" state. While it may be possible to restore its shine, I leave that decision to the buyer, as some may prefer the authentic, aged patina look. It would be lovely displayed on a table or tucked into a bookcase. less
