Intriguing carved female nude sculpture, which appears to be crafted from soapstone. The style is a period perfect blend of Modernism, Brutalist and Ancient with a nod to the Venus of Willendorf. The sculpture is securely mounted to a wood base.
Sculpture alone measures 7"x 3"x 8.5", overall dimensions w/base are 7"x 3.75"x 12.25". In age appropriate condition as seen with negligible tiny scattered scuffs, no chips or cracks. Wood base shows a production/age check to reverse, but everything is solid and stable. Base is marked with an "M" and the date of "71". less
