Abstract studio glass sculpture with multi-color sommerso technique in rich tones of emerald and turquoise in a striking organic form. Etch-signed near base and numbered 1/72.
David Goldhagen's sculptural forms are distinguished by his unique style. Each piece begins as a gathering of molten clear glass on the end of a five foot blowpipe. Colors are then meticulously layered and manipulated on the surface, creating intricate patterns and movement within the sculpture.
It measures 7 1/2" by 2.5" and stands 5 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition. less
