Description: This Chinese carved wood panel from the first half of the 20th century features a cavalry, musicians and building motif. … more This Chinese carved wood panel from the first half of the 20th century features a cavalry, musicians and building motif. The piece was carved then covered with a red paint, which served as a base layer for the gilding. Finally, gilt paint was applied. This carving depicts riders in competition or battle with musicians and building motifs.

Dimensions: 10” width, 2.5” depth, 31.5” height
