Each side of the bucket had the … Read more A mid 20th century pewter champagne bucket advertising the brand, "Moet & Chandon." Each side of the bucket had the name and Fonde en 1743 embossed on it. These buckets were given to bistros and restaurants to advertise the brand and were frequently used to hold open bottles of the champagnes which were sold by the glass. This bucket was found in Paris and is in very good condition with the expected scratches and dings accumulated in a life spent sitting on a bar. See less
