This pair has been upholstered with black naugahyde leather, which is the original fabric. The design features curves and an "organic" style as normally portrayed by Kagan in his designs. The chairs feature a label on the bottom, though only still present on one chair. The label states "Directional" (brand) and "Made in USA." The bases are wood with plastic feet.
The chairs measure 37 inches in diameter and 29.5 inches in total height. The seat height is 16.5 inches.
The chairs swivel in both directions. The chairs have a natural "resting" point and swivel equally in both directions from this "resting" point. The chairs do not continuously swivel; they swivel 180 degrees (approximately) in each direction and then slowly turn back to their resting position. less
