This wondrous object serves as a wine bottle holder on the table. In the French manner, it’s massively overbuilt, and silver-plated with a black patina; it’s quite heavy, pushing three pounds. The acanthus leaves decorating the edge sont magnifiques, n’est-ce pas? No need to concern yourself about its resting (or even sliding across) the table, the bottom is smooth as silk.
Seven and a half inches in diameter and standing about an inch high. The reception area for the bottle measures a hair under 3 3/4 inches.
For the French aficionado…and wine lover.
