Here is a beautifully layered natured-inspired, crystal glass vase designed by Sara Persson for Kosta Boda of Sweden. It an early model of her 'Meadow' collection which is both elegant and organic, capturing the fleeting beauty of nature in a way that is modern and fresh. The graphic pattern is reminiscent of birch trees deep in the forest and countryside of Småland in Sweden. This design is crafted using a technique where the vases, while still glowing red-hot, are rolled over crushed colored glass which then stick to the vases and fuse into the crystal, becoming an integral part of the piece, ensuring that each vase is unique. This could look very cool in just about any design setting.
This piece was produced in 2017 by Kosta Boda so this particular model is no longer in production thus making it a rare find and its also signed by the artist on the bottom.
