This classical square Chinese dining table is called Eight Immortals table. According to Chinese legend, eight immortals built a square dining table to show the parent of the bridegroom that the dining table could be placed outside, but easily moved inside if rain during the wedding. In old China, this table could seat 2 people on each side. Four humpback stretchers and horseshoe feet and dark brown color, this late 19th century square table will be an excellent center table, game table or dinning table.
