Description: Delightful, artisan made wooden vessels featuring intricate hand-tooled decoration. The olive jar shaped bowls are perched delicately on bobbin-like, tri-pod … more Delightful, artisan made wooden vessels featuring intricate hand-tooled decoration. The olive jar shaped bowls are perched delicately on bobbin-like, tri-pod legs and crowned with a wooden lid. The wood surface is adorned with an incised and painted profile of a woman wearing the traditional Breton lace headdress surrounded by wave-like flourishes recalling Brittany's seaside. The artist's signature can be seen on the right side of the image but is illegible to us.
