It is … more This is an original c1900 antique lithograph that came from an unbound French portfolio, Album de la Decoration. It is a gentile pastoral landscape featuring 2 young bathers at a serene pond. Set into trifold panels of a screen, it typifies classic art nouveau styling that showcases organic floral motifs and imagery. The title “Paravent Brode” refers to an “embroidered screen” indicating that the panels are a textile of sorts. It is done is soft natural hues that create the peaceful serenity. This lithograph is clean with no age markings. It is in horizontal format, measuring 10 ½ x 14 ¼ inches. It is original to c1900 and NOT a recent reproduction. Original lithographs from this period have become increasingly more difficult to find with the passage of time, especially in pristine condition. Thus...this is a rarity! less
