This vintage first edition Pablo Picasso (Spain, France 1881-1973) lithograph (offset) depicts one of Picasso's iconic abstract modernist images .Picasso was one of the finest French modernists of the 20th century. Comes from a rare First Edition folio of the artist, created while he was still living, published by Editions Du Chene in Paris, France in 1946. Printed on one side only. Hand tipped-in on substantial stock. Information regarding the original artwork, in French, will be found by lifting any piece.. Very good condition - one corner is attached to the board. Never framed.
If you can find them, these prints are selling elsewhere for a lot more money. For example, a set of six (6) framed images from this portfolio are listed for $14,242.22 on 1stdibs ( although they are framed, each print is priced over $2373!! ......That is $2028 more than our price! ).
