Excellent condition, including upholstery with lovely patina.
Purchased for $2800 in 1983 in Lenox, Massachusetts. from antiques dealer Charles Flint and used in previous owner In-Law's Law office for nearly 40 years.
These chairs, according to the dealer at the time of sale, were from the estate of Mrs Leopold Stickley, who died in 1981.

According to the Director of the Stickley Museum Amanda Clifford in 2024, Gustav Stickley had made Shaker like chairs for family and friends at the Mottville Chair Factory in Shaneateles, NY, but could not determined if this was made by Gustav Stickley or L. & J.G. Stickley Inc.

Measures 24 in width, 31" in depth 41" in heightand in height.. Seat height is 16" less
