Description: Early American Pattern Glass, EAPG, Low Footed Compote with Lid in a Two Band pattern from Doyle and Company. This … more Early American Pattern Glass, EAPG, Low Footed Compote with Lid in a Two Band pattern from Doyle and Company. This is a lovely period piece from the late nineteenth century. This piece was introduced by Doyle and Company in the 1880s. Low footed compote with lid has decorative handles and finial in cross pattern. The band has diamonds stippling, and hexagons. The pattern is called Two Band. It has lovely bamboo handles and measures about 8" across and 7" high.

Antique very good- normal manufacturing glass imperfections for this period, minor interior rim roughness on lid, one chipped portion of the bamboo finial on top of the lid, it is very hard to see . Previously used item with normal wear for age and use.
