They Have Some Age Related Glaze Crazing in Various Areas but This is Typical & Quite Common with English Staffordshire Pottery Items from this Era. NOTE ALSO - That the Electric Cord - Wiring and Light Bulb Sockets are Fairly Recent and in Excellent Condition - Perfectly Usable - Lamps Just Need Shades & Light Bulbs and You are Good to Go.

This is a Absolutely Beautiful Pair of Large Size Table Lamp Bases. Each is Mounted with a Authentic Circa Mid 19th Century Antique English Staffordshire Pottery Figure that Depicts Prince Albert Seated on his Horse After a Successful Hunt - ( Note the Deer Draped Over His Saddle ). The Fine Quality Custom Made Lamp Conversions were Obviously Created by a Experienced Professional as the Attention to Detail Clearly Indicates. The Black lacquer Painted Bases were Hand Crafted out of a Solid Block of Wood with Added Feature of Internal Weighting to Provide Stability at the Base When Used. The Hardware - High Quality ( Adjustable ) Upper Risers, Electrical Sockets, and Other Parts Have Polished Brass Surfaces. Note That they Also Come with 2 Solid Brass & Genuine White Marble Lamp Shade Attachment Finials. The Figurative Staffordshire Horses and the Prince have Some Hand Decorated Features as well as Some Gold Luster Highlights.
