This Marc Chagall very rare vintage 1979 Expressionist lithograph print custom framed large fine art museum poster " Paris View ( Le Dimanche ) " 1954, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print is published by The Museum of Art Kibbutz Ein Hardod, printed in Israel in 1979 in an unnumbered limited edition by Hamakor Press Jerusalem. It features an artwork image originally created by Chagall in 1954 titled " Le Dimanche ", also known as " ( Paris View ) ".
Marc Chagall ( 1887 - 1985 ) the French Russian born Jewish Expressionist artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. His early Modernist artworks explore concepts and themes of spirituality, angelic influences, and the Jewish cultural life human experience. Chagall is commonly regarded as the quintessential preeminent Jewish artists of The 20th Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color, and creations in nearly every medium and form of art won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art. Artworks by Chagall are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
Ein Harod is a kibbutz in Northern Israel, founded in 1921 located in The Jezreel Valley near Mount Gilboa. The kibbutz is home to the very first art museum in Israel. Founded in 1937 as an " Art Corner " during the early years of the kibbutz in the belief that culture and art were among the essential components of a society.
The museum inaugurated in 1948, is a magnificent Modernist architectural work by the groundbreaking architect Shmuel Bickels, based entirely in natural light. It is an inspiration to world-renowned architects. The museum has one of the largest collections of Jewish artists from the end of The 19th Century and the beginning of The 20th Century, alongside an extensive collection of Israeli Art and Judaica from all of The Diaspora.
The rare out of print framed large format fine art museum poser print measures 26 3/4" W X 37 1/8" H X 1 1/4" D.
It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern natural oak wood matte eggshell finish museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
