This of pair antique Chinese armchairs, crafted in the elegant Ming style, features an ornately carved "dragon" design on the back splat. The arms and back splats are designed with graceful curves, while the front opening beneath the seats showcases a distinctive arch shape. Handcrafted using wooden pegs and a traditional tenon structure, the chairs exemplify classic Chinese craftsmanship. Made from a combination of cypress and elmwood with striking natural grain, they are solidly built and have been preserved in excellent condition. Dating to the early 19th century, they retain their original patina and wear.
