This beautiful chess set depicts two clans of Chinese warriors in traditional armor and sword. The queens are represented by the wives and the rooks a Chinese fortress. The pieces are artistically sculpted and intricately detailed to capture the essence of the characters. The pieces are cast in solid polystone, an extremely hard, stone-like material, and are hand painted in realistic colors by highly skilled artisans with amazing detail.
The chess board made from the finest walnut and maple veneer sealed with a satin polyurethane finish to protect and enhance the beauty of the wood. The bottom of the board has 4 feet and all the Figurines have brown felt pads to protect the board.
