Found in the South of France, this Late 19th Century French Stool or Bench was crafted by artisans from walnut in the grand Louis XVI style in the late 1800's. The piece features an oval caned seat resting above a hand carved apron leading to four turned legs with fluted carvings. Each leg is joined with and X form stretcher and finished with toupie feet. Solid and sturdy, this Late 19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut and Cane Stool or Bench with its refined design will add a touch of elegance to all interiors.
