Made in France in the 1940s, this ornate modernist Art Deco picture frame is built with brass and Bakelite. The piece boasts a stepped shiny brown Bakelite base topped with a thick gilded brass holder. The frame is complete with two glass sheets to enclose the photograph. You can arrange the picture frame in either a portrait or landscape orientation. There is no visible maker's mark.
The photo frame is in good condition, with minor wear on the metal.
