A unique abstract monotype by contemporary British artist Frances Daws, dated 2022 and beautifully presented in a white card mount and framed behind glass.

Into the wild is a monotype which creates a sense of a stormy sea, using chine-collé against the black ink. This was made using dampened paper and etching ink, whilst the lokta paper for the chine-collé attached using a rice paste as it is rolled with the plate through the press. This process has given the monotype great depth and texture. less
