All sides are … more A hard-to-find 19th-century 3-part Burmese lacquerware ginger jar in traditional Burmese style on top with red interior. All sides are hand-painted. The lidded jar has a cheerful elephant in a celebrating village scene.

The jar is in excellent condition, with minimal wear for its age. It shows pride of ownership from the previous owner. This piece was recently discovered in the legendary interior designer Lucia Lawrence's private collection and it has been stored in a climate-controlled environment continuously, still wrapped in shipping paper.
