Vintage rustic pottery floor jars from the northern part of the island of Luzon.
This sturdy terracotta jars were used to transport liquid and has an intricate web of bamboo wicker work on the exterior that was used to help support it during transport.
The patina of this pieces is great- from the dark brown glaze exterior to the bamboo bindings.
This makes for a unique and very rare decor item in a variety of residential or community interior settings from coastal, farmhouse to Rustic or Wabi Sabi.
Came out of fabulous Fisher Island estate sale.
