The box dates to the … more An ornate antique Renaissance Revival hinged box by the prestigious German company Erhard & Söhne. The box dates to the late Victorian period, it is constructed of solid bronze and has deep repousse decoration of putti, floral garlands and columns.

On the base of the box is the stamped cartouche of the Erhard & Söhne lion over the letter "E", it measures approx 5 1/2"W wide by 4” deep by 2 1/4"H tall.
This box is in amazing condition with no dents or missing pieces.


This is a beautiful antique box by a very prestigious maker, it would be lovely as a desk or jewelry box, or to display as part of a collection. less
