From the top it has four shelves graduating from a small 4 inch depth to the largest being 13 inch in depth.

The book shelf is versatile and sturdy holding small relics to good sized books too. Lightweight to move freely within your space. When folded it reduces to 7 inches in depth. This case good is clean with no scratches, however, there is a split on one back side of the bamboo supports. However, it does not affect appearance or functionality of the piece.
