This is a gorgeous set of five antique Country Primitive Colonial Windsor handmade wooden dining birdcage side chairs. Believed to be from the 19th century (1800s).
Wood appears to be ash and oak with pine plank seats. Spindle backs, with splayed faux bamboo legs, stretchers, and spindles.
Very solid and sturdy, with cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Dimensions vary slightly from chair to chair. One chair has a break that does not affect the sturdiness, and another has some damage on one side, as pictured. Adds character!
