Expertly embroidered, using … more A wonderous 19th C French tri-fold screen with embroidered silk work that travels across all 3 panels. Expertly embroidered, using satin stitch for the roses, ribbons and vines, there is some gold couching accenting the outer bottom corners. The embroidered silk material is protected by glass. The back side of the screen is covered in the same silk material but without glass. The top panels are beveled glass, except the largest panel which is not beveled. Each panel measures 18.75" across and screens folded width.

NOTE: There is light reflecting off the glass that is making this difficult to photograph. The silk background is more even in color than it looks.
