Widely emulated, this is the original "barrel" design--wider, lower, and without externally visible hardware on the tubular chromed frame, unlike the later designs that it inspired.

Initially, these had their “overstuffed” padded surround, but were expertly reinterpreted (and freshly upholstered) after their first 50+ years of life by renowned NYC interior design firm Solis, Betancourt and Sherrill, bringing their mid-century cool well into the 21st century.

If Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona Pavilion could be distilled into a chair, this might be it!

These could be extremely fun with one pair of accenting bolster pillows each (not included).
