Offered is a set of 8 Water Goblets and Champagne/Sherbet Cups in the King's Crown pattern, sometimes known as the Thumbprint pattern, made by Colony/Indiana Glass in the 1960s. The color is a deep teal, almost Peacock blue, and referenced as Riviera Blue. They are heavy and sturdy, and the thumbprint indentation is both decorative and ergonomic - it does actually help to hold the glass comfortably. This pattern was made by numerous American glass manufacturers starting as early as the 1920s. Lancaster Colony Glass was merged into Indiana Glass and eventually into Anchor Hocking's glass division.
Water Goblets measure 3" diameter, 5.75" tall
Champagne/Sherbet Cups measure 3.75" diameter, 3.25" tall less
