This Wayne Thiebaud rare vintage 2010 Modernist custom framed Pop Art offset lithograph print " Four Ice Cream Cones " 1964, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Pop Art print is published by Te Neues Verlag Publishing Company, printed in Kempen Germany in 2010 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features a Pop Art artwork image originally created by Thiebaud in 1964 titled " Four Ice Cream Cones ", Phoenix Art Museum, USA. Copyright VG Bild-Kunst, Bonn 2010.

Wayne Thiebaud ( 1920 - 2021 ) is an American painter widely known for his luscious handling of paint, and brilliant colorful palette of works depicting commonplace objects that combined sensuousness, nostalgia, and a hint of melancholy. Thiebaud is associated with The Pop Art Movement because of his interest in objects of mass culture. Although his early works, executed during the 1950's and 1960's, slightly predate the works of classic Pop artists. He uses heavy pigment and exaggerated colors to depict his subjects, and the well defined shadows characteristic of advertisements are almost always included in his work. Art works by Thiebaud are included in the collections of many of the most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print Modernist framed Pop Art print measures 20 1/8" W X 24 1/8" H X 7/8" D.
It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern avocado pistachio green matte eggshell finish wood framed molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The print is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling.
