Simply magnificent iconic IRADJ MOINI huge 'wrapped heart' pin inspired by the work of Fulco di Verdura*, who is most well known for his collaboration with Coco Chanel. and reinterpreted by Iradj in the early 1990's.
Features a heart of luscious ruby red cabochons wrapped up in a ‘ribbon’ twisted gold-plated wire. The cabochons are open backed and unfoiled. All stones are prong set. Antiqued gold-plated base metal.
MATERIAL: Gripoix glass red cabochon stones are set in gold-plated brass metal. With a clip/pin back.
*Fulco di Verdura was the Sicilian Duke of Verdura. Verdura first created this brooch in 1941 for Tyrone Power's wife. It has now become one of Verdura's most celebrated designs and Iradj has certainly done it justice.
Stamps/Markings: Signature on the reverse.
