A simply beautiful pair of vintage bamboo and rattan Italian lounge chairs. Featuring fresh brand new upholstery (including interior cushions) that are each accompanied by custom matching protective pads - for protection of possible snags to the cushions due to the chairs' metal seat bases. All of the cushions and pads (which includes 6 pieces - 2 pads, 2 bottoms, and 2 back rests), were professionally upholstered and made with exceptional craftsmanship with the finest quality upholstery. The work on the new cushions is evident at first glance, and truly embodies the Italian frames with distinction, comfort and class.
There is a woven rattan design that wraps around each square section of bamboo. As these chairs are vintage from the 1970's, there were a couple tears to the rattan wrapping in certain areas. These tears have also been professionally repaired, restoring these beauties as close to their original debut as possible, and are now like new. As we specialize in rattan and bamboo, we have an extended team of professionals who work closely with us to make any repairs necessary, bringing our products as close as possible to their original design. When it comes to restoration of any sort, it is our number one priority to work with the best professionals, all of whom are notably talented and recognized for their skills and creations. Although there were very few rips to the wrapped rattan in this pair of chairs, the pieces that were corrected are basically non-detectable, due to the superior quality of craftsmanship on our team.
The fabric that was chosen for the upholstery of these chairs matches the chairs' personality with perfection. The coastal vibe of these chairs have an eye catching charm that draws your attention immediately to them upon stepping into a room. They are exquisite. Due to their age there is naturally some very light scratching to the bamboo, otherwise these chairs embody the beauty of perfection.
